چکیده
The injection of engineered water to increase the oil recovery from carbonates is increasingly becoming popular due its reduced environmental impact and low cost operation. However, related variation in electric properties rock fluid with this technique still ambiguous needs thorough investigation. This study explores electrical conductivity, ion mobility, double layer thickness, change composition a geochemical perspective. In study, we implemented an improved wettability alteration model based on conductivity Matlab-IPhreeqc coupled simulator, (EDL) thickness. concentration ionic species obtained used determine conductivity. conductivity-based modification dynamically simulated transport model. validated experimental coreflood data conducted by simulating measurements reported literature. From findings, it evident that formation temperature, sulfate concentration, dilution injected seawater has noticeable effect during injection. It important mention EDL thickness main parameter affected consequence, suggested inject high-temperature carbonate reservoirs because will mobility. mobility enhance film become stabilized. Moreover, decreases while spiking increases activity ions. ions must be controlled as agent, can cause precipitation calcium sulfate. Furthermore, caused diluted increased approximately 16–21% selected case study.

Modeling liver electrical conductivity during hypertonic injection.
Metastases in the liver frequently grow as scattered tumor nodules that neither can be removed by surgical resection nor focally ablated. Previously, we have proposed a novel technique based on irreversible electroporation that may be able to simultaneously treat all nodules in the liver while sparing healthy tissue. The proposed technique requires increasing the electrical conductivity of heal...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Flake Electrical Conductivity of Few-Layer Graphene
The Kubo formula for the electrical conductivity of per stratum of few-layer graphene, up to five, is analytically calculated in both simple and Bernal structures within the tight-binding Hamiltonian model and Green's function technique, compared with the single-layer one. The results show that, by increasing the layers of the graphene as well as the interlayer hopping of the nonhybridized p z ...
متن کاملElectrical conductivity of CuO nanofluids
An empirical electrical conductivity assessment of nanofluids comprising CuO nanoparticles water-based in different concentrations, particles size and various temperatures of nanofluids has been carried out in this paper. These experimentations have been done in deionized water with nanoparticles sizes such as 89, 95, 100 and 112 nm and concentrations of 0.12 g/l, 0.14 g/l, 0.16 g/l and 0.18 g/...
